In this tutorial we provide an overview of the Screen Options in CherryFramework 4.

Screen Options is used to show/hide dashboard modules on some screens and show/hide columns on other screens. When you expand Screen Options you see the list of different settings you can enable/disable. Uncheck a box to hide something and check it again to show it.
Each admin panel section has its Screen Options available. We will show you several examples of the Screen Options available in Cherry Framework 4 templates.
You can find screen Options in different WordPress pages. Let’s take a closer look at CherryFramework 4 Screen Options.
Posts

Edit Post under Posts > Add Posts page in your WordPress dashboard.

You will see Screen Options on the right.

Click this button, and the drop down menu will appear:

You can disable/enable several options here. Click on the checkboxes to enable or disable the option. You can enable the following sections:

Grid Type section contains global layout configuration settings.

Layout allows you to change post layout settings.

Style section allows to change post style. You can change page colors here.

Revisions section allows you to see the latest revisions.

Enter your page excerpt to the Excerpt field.

Custom Fields section allows to add custom page settings.

Allow comment or trackbacks and pingbacks on the page you edit under Discussion.

You can see all comments added to the page under the Comments.

Enter page slug to the Slug field.

Page author is shown under the Author section.

Add Page Attributes.

Upload page image under Featured Image.

Screen Options section allows you to change Screen Layout. You can change Number of Columns and Enable full-height editor and distraction-free functionality.
Pages

Navigate to Pages > All pages section in your WordPress admin panel. Open page you would like to edit.

Click Screen Options tab at the top right corner to see Screen Options available for posts:

Format section lets you to change post format.

You can assign post to specific category under the Categories.

Enter post tags to the Tags field.

Upload image under the Featured image section.

Grid type allows you to change post grid settings.

Change page layout under Layout. You can enable/disable sidebars here.

Change page style under the Style section.

Enter your post Excerpt to the Excerpt field.

You can enable Send Trackbacks option. Trackbacks are a way to notify legacy blog systems that you’ve linked to them. If you link other WordPress sites, they’ll be notified automatically using pingbacks, no other action necessary.

Add custom settings under the Custom Fields section.

Enter comment for your page under Comments.

You can specify page Slug.

Or check page Author.

Menus

Navigate to Appearance > Menus section in your admin panel to access Menus Screen Options.

Click Screen Options at the top right corner:
